Export your data

Export your donor records, beneficiary profiles, and sponsorship assignments from your current platform in CSV or Excel format. We'll guide you through exactly what fields we need, and if your platform makes exporting difficult, we'll help you work through it.

Import into Outgiven

Our team reviews your data and imports it into your Outgiven account. We map your existing fields to Outgiven's data model and flag anything that needs your review before going live.

Verify together

You review the imported data in a staging environment before going live. We walk through the key records with you and confirm that assignments, amounts, and profiles look correct. Nothing goes live until you approve it.

Go live

Donors receive a notification about the transition and, where needed, a simple link to reconnect their payment method through Stripe. Your program continues without interruption.

Common questions about switching to Outgiven.

Will my donors have to re-enter their payment information?

It depends on your current platform and payment processor. In some cases, existing payment methods can be migrated directly into Stripe and donors don't need to take any action at all. In others, donors receive a secure link to reconnect their payment method — a quick, one-time action. We assess what's possible for your specific situation during migration planning, and donor-facing communication is part of the plan.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the size and complexity of your program. A simple migration from spreadsheets can be completed in a matter of days, while structured platforms with large donor lists take longer. After we see your export, we'll give you a realistic estimate up front. We work at your pace and do not set an artificial deadline.

What does migration cost?

Nothing. Migration support is free. There are no setup fees, no data-import charges, and no consulting fees. Outgiven is built and operated by Aprann, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and our goal is to help nonprofits run better programs, not to charge for the privilege of switching.

What platforms can you migrate from?

We have supported migrations from REACH, HelpYouSponsor, GiveClarity, and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets). If your current platform is not listed here, contact us and we will work with you to find a path forward.

What happens to our data if we ever leave Outgiven?

Your data belongs to your organization. You can export your donor records, beneficiary profiles, and giving history at any time. There are no exit fees.
